Weather Systems across the country

A cyclonic circulation is over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining area. Another cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. A trough is extending from central Pakistan to Bangladesh across Rajasthan, South Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal in lower levels. A cyclonic circulation is over central parts of Assam. A cyclonic circulation is over south Konkan. A shear zone is extending from this cyclonic circulation to Chhattisgarh across North Interior Karnataka and Telangana. 

Weather Activity in the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains occurred over Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, North Kerala, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over North East India, Gangetic West Bengal, rest Kerala, parts of west Madhya Pradesh, and isolated pockets of Chhattisgarh. Scattered rains over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Interior Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep. Isolated rains occurred over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, South Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Heatwave to severe heatwave occurred over Rajasthan.

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains are expected to continue over Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, North Kerala, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Northeast India, Gangetic West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Bihar and North Chhattisgarh. Scattered light to moderate rains over central Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep. Isolated rains will occur over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, South Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. West Rajasthan may get isolated dust storm. Heatwave to severe heatwave will continue over Rajasthan.
